sHERWOOD COURT RESIDENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES OF my hOSPITALS cHARITY

Sherwood Court extra care housing scheme have joined together to play bingo, host coffee mornings and run raffles.

Dean Whitaker, resident, said:  “We have just been absolutely ecstatic about how everyone has got together to make this wonderful thing happen. Being able to give back to a great cause like Pinderfields Hospital, which everybody here at Sherwood Court uses, has been very humbling for us all.”

Jane McDonald

Singer and television presenter Jane McDonald, who was raised in Wakefield, recently visited the Trust to show her support for the appeal. Jane surprised the GNR runners by generously committing to match the funds raised by the team for the appeal.

“I’m thrilled to bits that you’re doing this and as an incentive, I’ll match donations, pound for pound. Well done and good luck!”

ICWA donation

Islamic Cultural and Welfare Association (ICWA) who have raised money for the appeal and continue to support fundraising efforts and raise the profile of the appeal. 

Mr Kasim Patel, Chair of the ICWA said; “The ICWA has a long-standing relationship with MYTT and it’s a privilege to have been able to help."
